Class of 2021: Sean has attended BASIS Independent McLean for the past four years, and has been writing for the school paper ever since he first arrived on campus. Sean recently became The BIM Bulletin’s Editor-in-chief, receiving the role last February. Prior to becoming the Editor-in-chief, he participated as an active staff writer and photographer for the school paper. With a passion and an interest for discovery and exploration, Sean often writes about his opinions regarding developments in science or research. He does so in a causal tone, using a method that allows readers to follow his line of reasoning. As a result, his articles not only appeal to the scientific community at BIM but also are geared toward a general school audience. Sean has previously been published twice by a writing competition known as Creative Communication. In the future, it is his goal to obtain the Pulitzer Prize. As of today, he enjoys continuing to write for the school newspaper and the school blog.
