Heather C. is a sophomore columnist and reporter at BASIS Independent McLean for the 2023-24 school year. This is her first year on staff at the BIM Bulletin, and she is super excited to make contributions to the school news. Heather is most curious about the equestrian and animal worlds. Her passion for animals shapes the kinds of stories she reports as well as her personal expression. In addition, Heather’s reporting sheds light on unique trends or social issues that impact her peers and the school through her thoughtful perspective. As a columnist, she writes on a variety of subjects like entertainment and advice. Outside of school, some activities she enjoys doing are riding horses, playing the violin, journaling, going on quiet walks, and spending time with her horses and cats.
