BASIS Independent Mclean homecoming will be celebrated in the Fishbowl from 8 to 10 pm on October 26th. Students are recommended to eat dinner before, as only snacks and drinks will be provided.
This year’s theme is “Basis in Wonderland,” inspired by the famous book written by Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland. The story is about a girl named Alice traveling through a magical land filled with twists and turns. Some things you can expect for decorations are bright, vivid colors, elements of playing cards, and vibrant tea parties. Students can look forward to themed food and drinks as well as entertaining games. We hope students can enjoy this year’s fun and thrilling homecoming.
Anyone who is interested in contributing to Homecoming 2025-2026 can join the Homecoming Committee run by President Melody M. (12) and Co-President Anahit H. (12). In this committee, students can contribute their ideas and opinions to homecoming and help with handmade projects. Students are also able to help with the decorations, lighting, and food. Committee meetings are located in either room 318 or room 308 on Thursdays or Fridays. Anyone who is unable to attend the meetings can still help out by staying after school on October 25th to help set up decorations in the Fishbowl.
