Color forgotten 

The splatter of war’s temper

Snow will remember 

What Happened? 

Pitter, patter, plop 

Skitter, skatter, drop, chop, flop

Then, all was silent. 

The End Was Yesterday 

All their lives faded 

Yesterday, but a boy prayed

For just one more day
