Class of 2025: Currently attending school for her third year at BASIS Independent McLean, Julia is a staff photographer. She has taken two years of photography summer camp. She captures moments that enhance the articles written by the other staff members. She is also interested in being a staff writer and contributing ideas for new articles during class. From this class she hopes to expand her understanding of what goes into making a newspaper, gain writing and photography experience, and exercising creative freedom along with her classmates. She enjoys visiting national parks during the summer and going on hikes and taking pictures of the beautiful scenery.
